Kawhi Leonard also had a quiet night, scoring 12 points in just 18 minutes before being rested for the rest of the game. The Clippers will need to improve their shooting and limit their turnovers if they want to bounce back against the Pelicans.

In their previous matchup, the Pelicans cruised to a 107-88 victory over the Denver Nuggets, who were without the services of their star center, Nikola Jokic. Forward Brandon Ingram was the star of the show, recording a triple-double with 31 points, 11 rebounds, and ten assists. C.J. McCollum added 23 points, including six three-pointers, while Jonas Valanciunas chipped in with 15 points and 12 rebounds. 

The Pelicans shot an impressive 48% from the field, including 13 of 27 from beyond the arc. On the defensive end, New Orleans held Denver to just 17 points in the first quarter and limited them to just 18 in the fourth, resulting in a dominant victory.
