Seattle Seahawks vs, Arizona Cardinals Sunday Night Football Game on Week 16

Seattle SeahawksFor the second year in a row, the Seahawks are most likely in the top position to win the NFC West by beating Arizona on Sunday on the road, and pay per head bookies can’t wait to see how they’ll perform against the Cardinals in this meeting.

In Week 12, Seattle were able to beat Arizona 19-3 as the favorites on the road by 7.5 points, and would be able to win the tiebreaker if both teams are able to finish having the same record in the regular season.

An NFL team that’s standing at 11-3 was never this big of an underdog, and sources reported that since 1980, only two teams at 11-3 who were the dogs at home.

The betting line opened with Seattle being the favorites by 7.5 points, and 37 was the total.

The Seahawks were able to win 10 out of their last 13 meetings as the favorites on the road, as they went 8-5 ATS. Seattle are now defensively locked, performing just as well as last year in their run for the Super Bowl. Only three TD’s were allowed by them in their last four combined meetings, and in their last game they were able to hold Arizona to one field goal.

In the Seahawks’ winning streak of four games, they were able to go 4-0 ATS after a very nice win at home last week of 17-7 against the 49ers as the favorites by 9 points. The last five times that Seattle won a game, they were all made by 10 or more points.

The Cardinals have not been beaten this year at University of Phoenix Stadium at 7-0 and 6-1 ATS, and they were able to win 10 out of their last 13 meetings played as the underdogs at home. Lately, Arizona were very sparing there, not surrendering over two TD’s to any of the last three teams that they took on.

Even though they have some serious problems with QB Ryan Lindley, this season the Cardinals did a very good job defensively in every game that was played at home. Arizona were able to find a way to hold the Seahawks on the road last year while being in a similar position, and were able to win 17-10 as the underdogs with eight points.

Their 12-6 win on the road last week against the Rams as the underdogs by six points also showed that Arizona are able to win a defensive fight in which the outcome of the game is decided by the kickers.

Over and over again, the Seahawks’ QB Russell Wilson was able to make the proper plays when needed, leading Seattle to win games.

Last season, the Seahawks had the player as they key piece when winning the Super Bowl, and he continues to be a force to reckon with. Even in the first game that they had earlier during the year, the QB was sacked by the Cardinals on seven occasions, but pay per head bookies saw that he was still able to put the team in a position to score, leading the team to win and cover.

Many experts believe that Wilson will again work his magic as Seattle wins and covers this clash.
