TE Jordan Fuchs joins the Hoosiers’ basketball team

TE Jordan Fuchs, Indiana University freshman, is now playing basketball in his school as a forward, in what many online bookmakers believe is a very good move, considering the player’s talents on the court.

Last season, Jordan Fuchs was in all of Indiana’s 12 games in their football team, and for 31 yards he made 3 receptions with a TD.

Fuchs, who weighs 230 pounds and stands at 6-foot-6, is immediately eligible for the Hoosiers’ basketball team. Many fans saw that last season, the player who’s a big hit with many fans due to his many athletic skills, showed up in all of the 12 meetings for the Hoosiers’ football team, and for 31 yards, he was able to record 3 receptions along with a TD, which clearly shows his athletic skills.

Tom Crean, basketball coach for Indiana, said that he was checking the player “for some time” already, and he apparently liked what he saw. Fuchs was injured when the football team played their last game of the season when they faced Purdue in November, and if this wouldn’t have been the case, the coach would have thought about adding the player to his roster.

“We worked with him since last week, and with [football coach Kevin] Wilson’s blessing, we are adding Jordan at this time,” said the coach. “He has considerable basketball experience and brings size, athleticism, toughness and a tremendous competitive attitude.”

Fuchs was playing basketball and football in Queens, NY, for Christ the King High School. The player had offers for basketball scholarships coming from Florida, Iowa State, and SMU, as well as others, as when he was playing as a senior, he had an average of 11.7 points and 6.4 rebounds for each game played, a feat that many fans and experts believe shows his huge talent on the court.

The player was committed to playing football at Connecticut, but then he was at Milford Academy for one semester. Online bookmakers found out that later on, he made the decision to join the football team at Rutgers before December of 2013, when he signed with Indiana.

Hoosiers fans all over the country who follow the school’s basketball team see a very versatile player in Fuchs, and believe that he could end up being the perfect addition to the squad, helping them win many meetings in the future.
