The 49ers’ football betting fans can’t wait for Sunday night to arrive, as their team is set to play on the road for the second consecutive week when they take on the Broncos at Denver. Last week, these teams won 31-17 on-the-road, could cover the spread, and in the last minute they were able to use interception returns for TD’s to win the games.

Denver’s betting line opened up with the Broncos being the favorites by six points, and earlier in the week many sportsbooks put the total at 47.

On Monday night, San Francisco finally got their act together when they took on St. Louis, with WR Brandon Lloyd getting an 80-yard TD pass from QB Colin Kaepernick at the first half of the game. At the time, the 49ers were behind at 14-3, and if the team would have lost to St. Louis, they could have gone 3-3. The game completely changed after that play, helping the 49ers seal the win.

The 49ers must start better when they face the Broncos. They’re currently 5-2 SU and ATS in the last seven games that they played with Denver.

After a 0-3 ATS start to the season, the Broncos were able to cover the spread in each one of their past couple of meetings. However, many fans believe that Denver had plenty of luck when they covered their win last week over the Jets, as they needed an interception by CB Aqib Talib with only 15 seconds left to beat the betting line of 9.5 points.

But the Broncos will be playing at home in the meeting with the 49ers, and many pay per head agents believe that QB Peyton Manning will break the historic TD pass record made by Brett Favre. If Manning is able to break the record, he needs to have two in order to tie and three for the new mark to be made, and playing in front of his fans at home should be of great help as he tries to accomplish this mission.

The Broncos are also 8-3 ATS in the last 11 games that they played at home against opponents in the NFC West.
