Pay per head Reports: Carmelo frustrated with Porzingis Pick

Sources confirmed by ESPN, has said Carmelo Anthony has expressed displeasure with Thursday night’s draft pick selected by the New York Knicks and Phil Jackson. These are not the sentiments of pay per head sportsbook.

We come to believe that this is not the case and is on the same page with management. I mean, I pose a question which players selected would’ve taken the New York Knicks to the championship next year. This is a pick with an eye on the future, isn’t that what you’re supposed to do one selecting in the draft.
ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith said Friday that people around Anthony said he was “furious” with Jackson’s decision.

“I [was] talking to my sources last night. All they said was, he’s furious, he’s livid. He feels completely hoodwinked and betrayed by Phil Jackson,” Smith said on SiriusXM Mad Dog Sports Radio. “He feels like he was lied to, like he was sold a bill of goods. And he’s willing to concede that he wanted his money. But he didn’t know it was going to be like this. He didn’t know it was going to be this bad. And he can’t believe that his second season under the Phil Jackson regime, he has to look forward to it being worse than even last year was.”

Jackson texted Carmelo when he selected Porzingis and added he made the selection with Carmelo in mind per best price per head agents.

“Carmelo is always on my mind. He’s our favorite son. At this point in his life, that’s the way it should be. But the second-most important thing is what we do for this franchise,” Jackson said. “And that has to be a consideration. And I let Melo know that as we made this choice. He actually sat in during KP’s workout for a few minutes. … We anticipate it’s going to be [a significant period of development] regardless of whether we have a 19-year-old KP or a 19-year-old whomever. They’re still young players.”

The team for once is being constructed in the right way. I’ve been a Knicks fan since 8 and now understand and believe in Phil Jackson. His night wasn’t finished with Porzingis as his trade Tim Hardaway Jr. to the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks in turn selected Jerian Grant with the 19th selection, another shrewd move by Phil an lastly they traded two future 2nd round picks for the 76er’s number 35 pick who selected Gullermo Hernangomez. All in all I think a successful day.
