Unquestionably the most attractive game of week 2 of the 2015 NFL preseason is the Packers going to Heinz field to take on the Pittsburg Steelers. Currently per head agents have the Steelers as the favorites coming into this matchup, but can the Packers pull the upset?
Many experts and live betting services are considering the Packers to be one of the teams to beat coming into this brand new season. They have a great offense and a solid defense, their first outing on week 1 saw them bring back a well deserved win against the World Champs New England Patriots. They are a team that is well put together and experienced enough to truly pose as contenders for the title.
The Steelers will want to bounce back from their loss against the Jaguars at Jacksonville. The Steelers are hoping to make a splash this season get back to the fantastic form they had in past years. Ben Roethlisberger is a mature Quarterback that has guided this team to the championship before and knows how to handle difficult situations. After a couple of disappointing seasons, this year the Steelers appear to have a surprise up their sleeve with the presence of Antonio Brown receiving. On paper, the Steelers have a good team that could earn them the AFC North Division.
So considering the two offensive teams that are facing each other it is the smart play to go for the over. At this time the average over that per head agents are giving this game is 40, these two teams are well capable of putting on a show and put their offensive powers to the test, and both Quarterbacks are not afraid to let the football fly.
But, not to get carried away, after all this is just a preseason game. Expect both teams to put players on the field who might not see that much action come regular season. It will be interesting to see how the secondary units on both teams will measure against each other. The Packers had a better showing last week, while the Steelers were not able to control the Jaguars. This game will be a high scoring one but ultimately a close one, as the Steelers will want to prove that they are no pushovers. However, the Packers are going to steal this game, maybe by a short margin of 3 points.
