Falcons vs. Jets Price per Head Preseason Highlights

Atlanta Falcons vs. New York Jets Price per Head HighlightsThe New York Jets are considered by price per head Sportsbooks as the slight favorites in their week 2 encounter when they host the Atlanta Falcons this Friday night. Yet bettors should be cautious before taking the Jets on their wagers this week. New York still has not shown signs that their performance will be different from the hellish season they had last year. The Falcons on the other hand, are looking to be real playoff contenders this year.

It is important for everybody doing live betting on these games to remember that these games are just the preseason and that teams enter these games looking to experiment and test the depth of their roster. It is a great time to analyze how the teams measure up to real competition, but ultimately wins or loose, it doesn’t matter that much in the end.

With that said, judging the New York Jets to be doomed to carry as the laughing stock of the league is extremely premature and unfair. Not only do they have enough time to pull it together before the season starts, they appear to have a more cohesive team than in previous occasions. However, bad luck appears to follow the Jets. The whole situation with Geno Smith and a certain sucker punch drew plenty of negative attention to their training camp.

Smith’s recovery from a broken jaw leaves the Jets QB department with a unexpected competition for the starting position between Ryan Fitzpatrick and Bryce Petty, all the while week 2 of the preseason in upon them. On their previous game against the Lions, the Jets only managed to score 3 points.

It would not be wise to think that the Jets previous performance against the Lions is any indication of what we are going to see on Friday, they have managed to get some practice time and they should be some improvements.

The Falcons are still putting together what their starting lineup is going to look like when the regular season comes. The running back position seems to be still up for grabs as both Tevin Coleman and Devonta Freeman are arduously competing for the position. Expect both men to really look to make an impression on their coach. This can also translate to some touchdowns, so live betting players take note.

Finally, Atlanta’s starting QB Matt Ryan looked sharp last week and should he continue to play like that it will mean trouble for the Jet’s defense.

We predict that the Falcons will win this game by over 10 points, and the point spread on pay per head Sportsbooks will be covered.
