College Football Week 10 Game Betting Analysis: Oklahoma vs. Iowa State

Iowa State Cyclones vs. Oklahoma SoonersNot much thought was given to this game before the beginning of the season, as it was thought that Oklahoma wouldn‘t lose a single meeting and have no problems whatsoever in taking out Iowa State. Even though this game could very well be a big win for the Sooners, pay her head agents know that a lot less will be gained by them after they lost two times to the TCU Horned Frogs and the Kansas State Wildcats.

Right now, a team that was beaten twice almost doesn’t have an opportunity to make it to the College Football Playoff, which would be the first one in the history of the NCAA. Even though Oklahoma could be feeling upset, the team should focus on the game ahead and by no means take it in a light manner, which is something that many fans fear the Sooners will do. They will not forget the game in 2011, when Oklahoma, who were No. 2 back then, ended up losing very dramatically to Iowa State.

This season, the Sooners have so far been able to prove that they have the necessary talent, and are definitely able to score some proper points, but the defense didn’t really show up in two of the team’s defeats, something that concerned many of their fans. Oklahoma are giving more-or-less 23 points per game, but in the two times that they were beaten, 30 were given up.

This year, the Cyclones put up points. When they took on the Wildcats and the Baylor Bears, Iowa State scored 28, and last week against the Texas Longhorns they got 45 – something that can give the team’s fans a certain degree of optimism before their game against the Sooners. If they’re able to hold back Oklahoma’s offense, Iowa State could put the Sooners in a very difficult position.

However, this is not very likely to take place, as the Cyclones simply can’t seem to stop any other team. 48 points were scored by the Longhorns when they took on the Cyclones, 49 were scored by Baylor, and 37 by Oklahoma State. An average of approximately 35 points was given up by Iowa State.

Even though everything seems to indicate that this upcoming meeting will be a huge blowout, this might not be the case, but many experts and pay per head agents still believe that the Sooners will be the ones to come out on top.
